bedrijfsnieuws over CITTI Mesh Introduces Drag Mat Range for Baseball Fields, Turf Maintenance and Heavy Duty Lawn Levelling

Sports turf managers need a surface that is level, consistent and playable within a short window before a game. HEBEI CITTI MESH CO.,LTD has added a focused Drag mat programme of 8 references: reversible flexible baseball field drag mats, standard steel drag mats for soft turf maintenance, and stainless lawn drag mats in heavy duty and standard duty formats.

Simple Tool, Real Agronomic Effect

A drag mat breaks up shallow compaction, redistributes topdressing, smooths divots and stands up the grass canopy in a single pass. The choice of mat depends on the surface: a flexible reversible mat follows uneven ground on baseball infields and warning tracks, while a rigid steel mat levels and firms sand-based rootzones. Stainless construction resists fertiliser and irrigation water, keeping the mat usable for years without rust staining on turf.

Practical Benefits

• Reversible design doubles service life on abrasive sand.
• Flexible links follow contours without digging in.
• Stainless mesh avoids rust staining on fine turf.
• Tow bar and lifting points for tractor or utility vehicle use.
• Compact packing for economical export freight.

Seasonal Maintenance Routine

Drag mats work best as part of a routine rather than a one-off repair. On baseball infields, a light pass after each session removes footprints and redistributes the loose surface, while a deeper pass with a heavier mat ahead of a game firms and levels the skin. On fine turf, mats are used after topdressing to work material into the canopy and after aeration to smooth the surface. CITTI Mesh supplies mats in a range of widths and duty levels so a club can hold one mat for routine work and a heavier one for renovation, and advises on tow speed and pass direction to avoid scuffing. Stainless mats suit clubs using frequent irrigation and fertiliser.
